PETA Drove That Panel Truck

If I were the USDA and US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), I would not be a happy camper right now.

It appears to be true that anything once stored on-line never really disappears.  For whatever reason, I don't seem to be able to pull up the full USDA inspection reports of U.S. Global Exotics.  However, I was able to pull this from blurbs on search engines:

"U.S. GLOBAL EXOTICS, INC. Date: Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION. U.S. GLOBAL EXOTICS, INC. NO NON-COMPLIANCES IDENTIFIED THIS INSPECTION. Jun-29-2009. JASEN SHAW. SENT VIA E-MAIL. Jun-29-2009. CYNTHIA L DIGESUALDO. USDA, APHIS, Animal Care. VETERINARY MEDICAL OFFICER Inspector 5055 Title: Prepared By..."

"U.S. GLOBAL EXOTICS, INC. Date: Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION. U.S. GLOBAL EXOTICS, INC. NO NON-COMPLIANCES IDENTIFIED THIS INSPECTION. Oct-02-2007. VANESSA SHAW. VICE PRESIDENT. Oct-02-2007. JEANNE KJOS, V.M.O. USDA, APHIS, Animal Care. VETERINARY MEDICAL OFFICER Inspector 4013 Title: Prepared By..."

"U.S. GLOBAL EXOTICS, INC. Date: Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION. U.S. GLOBAL EXOTICS, INC. NO NON-COMPLIANCES IDENTIFIED THIS INSPECTION. Jan-16-2007. JASEN SHAW. PRESIDENT. Jan-16-2007. JEANNE KJOS, V.M.O. USDA, APHIS, Animal Care. VETERINARY MEDICAL OFFICER Inspector 4013 Title: Prepared By..."

And it's sure looking like PETA, with great assistance from Arlington Animal Control, suckered the USFWS into helping get a seizure warrant by requesting assistance from Arlington Animal Control in determining whether or not there was abuse of these thousands and thousands of animals despite 3 "no-non-compliances identified" (aka, clean, no violations found) inspections.  Oh, what a tangled web they wove.  I wonder if we'll get to see the support for the USFWS warrant.  Will it have an affidavit signed by the PETA narc attached to it?

Like many federal agencies, the USDA walks a fine line.  It must be impartial in inspections even with those who disagree with them and especially careful to avoid accusations of improprieties.  And this is no small time, local farmer with a backyard farm or petting zoo.  This is a multi-million dollar enterprise.

In 2006, "Jasen Shaw, president of U.S. Global Exotics, one of the largest American wildlife dealers, opposes banning exotic animal imports"  Sure explains why this business was on PETA's "hit" list.

In 2007, "Good morning, everybody. My name is Jasen Shaw. I represent the Coalition of Concerned Pet Dealers, and my company U.S. Global Exotics. I'm based in Arlington, Texas; I employ 14 full-time people; I'm involved in the buying and selling of exotic animals, including animals that we're talking about today; I'm involved in comprehensive export to Europe and Asia, as well as distributing within the United States and within the state of Texas."

"Nipple Nightmare for Seized Animals"
"Bureaucratic Battle for Seized Animals"

Oddly, I can no longer locate this story/video on Fox 4 but those web crawlers are sure getting fast and efficient!

Seriously?  They're hiding animals from the USDA?  The insider PETA narc participated in the seizure?  His affidavit is the only evidence that supported the warrant?  Shoot, he worked there for months.

He worked there for 7 months according to his affidavit and there's nearly a page of bullet listed alleged abuses.  But the earliest dated item is 11/24/09?  Did he spend the first 6 months chasing off the employees so there would be no one to care for the animals?  Did he stage what he took pictures of?  Is he the worst animal abuser of all?

He was there for about 2 months when the last USDA inspection occurred.  Why not present that inspector with his pictures and bullet list?  Why go on participating for another 5 months if it's all so very horrendous as he alleges?

7 months as an employee, as a veterinary technician with 15 prior years of experience.  Surely he participated in whatever alleged abuses were going on.  How could he have avoided it?  Surely there's a special place in Hades for one who professes to be against animal abuse but finds it within their capacity to participate, assist, and be paid for abusing animals and then wants to blame another - not just for the others acts but for his own that violated his own personal ethics.  If he did indeed participate, he should be held even more liable than anyone else. Perhaps whatever organization certified him as a Vet Tech has a canon of ethics and can yank back his certification too.

That is if, IF, there was any abuse of these creepy, crawlies, and slithers; these vermin and creatures.

PETA has stuck their fingers in and there is indeed a stench left.  A stench far worse than death or excrement!  It is the stench of those who would execute your most fundamental property rights.
