Papi's Fund is Set Up!

Update:

Melissa Aguilar is the (pet owner) of Papi and has set-up his "fund" through "WoodForest National Bank" and you can send donations to his account number is #1726363029. The bank are usually inside walmart stores. This money will go towards his Vet. bill that is accumulating during his stay at the vet. hospital. We need all the help we can get to bring Papi home. His condition is stable but good. He know opens his eyes, wag his tail and tries to get up a little but can't and the nurse vet commented that she had to put him back on his bed crate because he move from his bed crate. She says he is trying to get up and go home. :) We are in the process of having the bank of "Papi Fund" posted and be viewed on air of NBC channel 5 news.

To send gifts to Papi's medical care, on the "to" or "payee" line: Acct #1726363029

The account was opened at the Lake Worth Branch in the Walmart.  The address is 6360 Lake Worth Blvd, Lake Worth, TX  76135.  Gifts can be made in person or mailed to the Lake Worth bank.  Gifts can also be mailed to Woodforest National Bank, P.O. Box 7889, Woodlands, TX  77387.  In addition, any Woodforest National Bank location should also be able to take your gift for Papi as long as you have the account number.  Woodforest Bank locations can be found on their website at http://www.woodforest.com/default.aspx.  Please feel free to copy/paste, print this, etc.  and include with your gifts to ensure you've got the account number correct.

PS: The account is new and often accounts don't come up in the computer system until it is updated.  When I called the main bank in the Woodlands, they had to call the branch to verify the account.  If you run into a bank clerk who can't find the account in their system yet, assure them it exists and ask them to take your gift/deposit to the account.

Papi is not yet 4 years old.  He is loved and he has a long healthy life ahead of him but needs our help to get that life.  I am regularly amazed at how a dog (or cat) can heal and adapt to an amputation.  They even make some types of prosthetics for dogs now!  Wanted to get this up quickly but I'll be back to update, etc. as needed.
