Coffee Is My Friend

"They found that women who drank four or more cups of caffeinated coffee a day had a 56 percent lower risk of developing the condition [type 2 diabetes] than those who did not drink coffee."

"But the risk [for heart rhythm disturbances] was 18 percent lower for those who reported drinking four or more cups of coffee a day, compared to those who didn't drink coffee"

"Another study that has followed more than 3,000 men and women for 20 years found no association between coffee consumption and atherosclerosis for just about every demographic group -- men and women, blacks and whites, smokers and nonsmokers."

"Based on our results, long-term coffee drinking might be a risk factor for hypertension, but the effect is very moderate,"

Well, DUH, everything is life is a balancing act, a trade off of choices.  Y'all starting to figure that out yet?  Yeah, you twits need to learn that one AND that some of us may make different choices than you would make and that is OUR RIGHT.

10 years of doctors demanding that I stop drinking coffee.  I may print this and shove it down their throats!  I can pretty much guarantee society doesn't really want to see me coffee free, let alone nicotine free :)

Reminds me of the decade when the same twit profession kept telling us eggs were "bad" for us.  I'm starting to think the medical profession is just the absolute worst rumor mill on the planet.
