In early January, I asked: Humane Police or Armed Thugs? The answer appears to be in. It was bound to happen, it was down right invited: "Sham humane society shuttered - outed as front for staffers to score guns & badges" The answer is clearly ARMED THUGS!

Got that? 16 nefarious men with GUNS and BADGES running around Yonkers (and who knows where else) for nearly 3 years doing who knows what to residents and citizens! The AG started trying to shut them down last summer. Even that took months. THEY AREN'T THE ONLY ONES. All across this country, we have animal rights activists and just plain lunatics getting guns and even badges, seizing animals and other property, committing crimes with no regard whatsoever to our Constitutionally protected rights to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures and to own property; nor have these thugs any regard for any other laws or social rules. It is open season on residents of this country, more especially those of us who own animals. A mere complaint/unfounded allegation from someone who claims to be a member of a "humane society" or "SPCA" and *poof* guys with guns show up to take your PROPERTY and rifle through the rest of your property like a burglar rushing to find the goodies. Further *poof*, you are forever defamed on websites around the world!
This woman alleges her jewelry disappeared during a search and seizure based on allegations of cruelty. I have ZERO doubt she's telling the truth. Mr. Lulling has reported the same in the comments here and it was clear from the media videos and pictures in the U.S. Global Exotics and Boado seizures (to name but a couple) that the "officials" took far more property than animals. I'm sure it started with them taking what they saw as "belonging" to/with the animals and just getting to keep it because no one fought back (in the trauma of having your pets seized, would you complain about them taking the crate, food, leash? if you did, you'd be accused of being petty) but these "officials" are untrained in the law and the "creep" is now obvious. They feel free to riffle and simply take whatever strikes their fancy. THUGS and THIEVES, pure and simple, whether wearing a "real" badge or a fake one.
We have no way of knowing how many like these guys in Yonkers are running around nor how many with "real" badges share their disregard for OUR rights but we do know that their ranks have been growing for years. Whether it's "human society" or "SPCA" or local quasi-law enforcement in the guise of animal control or some other government function. We simply must
