Behind The Scenes

Due to my own health issues, I'm missing the Gracia hearing today but don't worry as there are others observing and taking notes.  In the meantime, let's take a look behind the scenes at a search/seizure.  Let's say you're doing a little target practice at your rural property as you've done for years and it's all quite legal.  Some twit calls in a "shots fired" report and, well, let's just say that many law enforcement officers aren't going to be satisfied with "it's just target plinking" in an era where they can hash it out and get away with thievery of some very nice guns from a locked gun safe inside a locked house they had no reason to be in at all.

Grab a cup of coffee and settle in for half an hour or so of viewing of these 3 videos.  You'll see this group of officers do as they please and then hash out forcing it all into their justification model after the fact.  You'll see what few outside the law enforcement family see but what is all too common.  You might want something a little stronger than coffee when you're done with the videos.

There is a dog in these videos and he survives unscathed but please watch closely as the officers swarm over the fence gate; note the officers' reaction to the uber friendly dog merely approaching and crossing their path  when THEY are the trespassers, the invaders.  Time marker 5:55 in the first video.

I think we need a federal law mandating that ALL law enforcement activities be fully and completely recorded, both video and audio!
