Live Vaccines still Common

Just a footnote to the previous entry.  We all get exposed to live virus vaccines, directly or indirectly and regularly, from humans, cats, and dogs.  Humands: "Examples of live vaccines include: Viral: polio vaccine (Sabin vaccine), measles vaccine, mumps vaccine, rubella vaccine, chicken pox vaccine, and yellow fever vaccine[2], H1N1 nasal vaccine; Bacterial: BCG vaccine[2], typhoid vaccine"  Dogs: Pages 4-9.  Cats: Pages 6-7.  And who knows what they're giving livestock these days and what makes it through to our dinner plates.

Simple truth is that live virus vaccines are easier to develop and killed vaccines generally require adjuvants to boot.  The diesases are dangerous and sometimes deadly.  The vaccines can be too.  There is a balancing act to be done, especially as to the stacking effect of multiple vaccines and the increasing effects of adding multiple vaccines; there's the effects of multiple provocations to immune systems to be considered given how little is yet known of those and the effects of vaccines on them.  That balancing act needs to be evaluated seriously and long term and it needs to be ongoing.  I don't see that happening.  I just see vaccines being shoved at us and our pets with the "it's safe, the disease is ALWAYS worse" mantra.

FYI: I've taken many vaccines in my life but I wonder whether they contributed to my own immune problems.  I'm certainly more careful now because of those immune problems!
